About Me

I am a child of the African continent, born and raised in the beautiful rainbow country of South Africa.  I grew up on a small farm just outside of a medium-sized city with very big dreams.  With my roots firmly set in my motherland, I can’t deny the wanderlust that fuels my daydreams and demands my obedience and has led me on an unexpected and beautiful journey to my current home base in South Korea.

It is my love of nature, my curiosity about the diversity of the world and the human experience that is the inspiration of my art.  Observing and experiencing humans as we navigate through life, love and loss is poetry in motion to my soul.
I consider myself a self-taught artist and can’t recall a day in my life where I haven’t been creating art in some way – drawing, painting, writing or performing.

I would describe my sketches as more playful and innocent with a somewhat poetic undertone.  Whereas my paintings are more realistic and romantic in their approach.  But with both mediums I attempt to capture moments that tell stories of how humans uniquely navigate through life within their different stages, ages and relationships, always staying true to my inherent positive nature.

I am a wanderer, a free spirit, a dreamer, a curious mind and a storyteller. Imagination is my workshop and creating is my playground. I am forever a student of life and a sucker for love. It is an absolute privileged to share my work and journey with like-minded humans like yourself.
